About the artist
Gontar Victor (1949-2017) was born in 1949 in the Poltava region. In 1986 he graduated from the Moscow University of Arts, Faculty of Painting and Graphics. Landscapes, still lifes - the main directions of his work. Artistic works are in galleries of Ukraine, Poland ,. Germany as well as in private collections in Canada, USA, France, Italy, Japan, Greece, Russia and other countries. Participant of numerous exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad Awarded by the diploma for the participation in the Exhibition "Blessing" Independent Producer Center Boyko. Member of the Association of Christian artists, participant of all projects AXX.
