About the artist
Viktor Gutsul was born on November 2, 1990 in the village of Nedoboyevka, Khotyn district, Bukovyna, in an extremely creative family. Victor's father is a well-known artist in our city, a candidate of art history, a teacher of K-PNU named after I. Ogienko Ivan Gutsul. Mother's boyfriend is a talented confectioner. Is it worth to say that both parents are endowed with extraordinary musical abilities? As for me, in such a family the child was simply doomed to an interesting artistic life and future. After graduating from the 9th form of high school, Victor went to study at the Chernivtsi Art College, later in the K-PNU. Ogienka, where the granite has successfully gnawed science up to now.
The guy began to present his work on a general basis with 3 courses, and the first important achievement in the exhibition activity is the 4th course. It was then that he and several of his friends staged an exhibition called "RestArt", which had the opportunity to view the Stone and Ternopil. He is proud of Victor and a victory in international art competitions held in Bulgaria and Finland. Also, the artist had a chance to visit the world's leading museums, in particular, visited Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia and became acquainted with the most outstanding masterpieces of artistic art.
"When you start to work, first of all, academicism prevails in creativity, because it is the basis on which everything is completely built. However, when you reach a certain level of academicism, you feel that you do not have enough. Then begin the creative search for yourself as an artist, I want to create my own handwriting, whatever you would recognize. At the moment, I like avant-gardism most of all, I like to experiment. "
Victor believes his teacher, his father, because he taught him not only painting, but life itself. Also, the work of the artist influenced the thoughts of Boris Nezhoda, Alexander Vistchenko and many others. From all the artists, the young man tried to take something useful and transform it through the prism of his own consciousness.
Looking at the canvases of Viktor Gutsula, it is easy to understand his favorite techniques - acrylic, oil painting, mixed technology (oil, acrylic, various putty).
