Billina Catherine

Over the last 9 years working on the project "Ukrainian portrait"- a series of paintings and drawings assembled from portraits of friends and acquaintances in national costumes from different regions of Ukraine, as well as portraits, created as a modern reconstruction of old photographs from the album of Ivan Gonchar "Ukraine and Ukrainians". Catherine is the author of illustrations for children's books and foreign famous Ukrainian writers Lesya Voronina, IREN Rozdobudko, Klaus Hagerup, Danuta Vavilov. Also in the creative Luggage of the artist a portrait of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, ( "President in the embroidery "), historical portraits-reconstructs : "Young Lesya Ukrainka" and" Young Ivan Franko".
